My experience as a working mother

Like all career women, even I was genuinely worried about the phase as a working mother. I started questioning my choices of career, work aspirations and the daily routine. I joined back work after my maternity leave last April. As I have survived a year as a working mom, I wanted to pen down my thoughts. There are two primary emotions which summarize my experience  Guilt  and  Peace Guilt The all consuming, all pervasive, constant companion of a working mom. Right from the time you decide to join back work, to the time you decide on a kid arrangement ,to the time you actually start working, this is one feeling/emotion that becomes your constant companion. The occasional team outings, meeting up friends during office hours, mindless browsing after your work, staying late for work aspirations all become guilt ridden.
